John has spent years studying horsemen Ray Hunt and Tom and Bill Dorrance. He has also spent a considerable amount of time riding with Jeff Griffith and Buck Brannaman. Several months of the year, he divides time between Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho for "cowboying". The remainder of the time he lives on a 60 acre horse ranch in Iowa. With a little rope work, cow work, ranching, and a lot of patience and tuning- he creates a partnership with his horses and the results are remarkable. John Parks lives horses.

John and I decided to partner in May 2007. It's a little bit of a collision of two worlds: his knowledge of ranch work, roping, and the making of a hackamore and bridle horse combined with my experience in horsemanship, equitation, and competition/coaching.
The outcome is an amazing exchange of ideas and training techniques.
The results are evident in the quality of our horses.
